APLICACIÓN DE UN PROGRAMA DE ELECTROESTIMULACIÓN EN JUDOCAS DE LA PRESELECCIÓN NACIONAL MASCULINA CUBANA

Resumo

Se realizó un estudio experimental con 10 deportistas de la preselección nacional masculina de judo; con el objetivo de verificar el efecto de la aplicación de un programa de electroestimulación sobre la fuerza muscular. Participaron en el mismo 10 judocas clasificados en dos grupos: cinco sometidos al experimento (E) y otros cinco que solo realizaron el régimen de ejercicios planificados por el entrenador (C). Los primeros, además de realizar el entrenamiento previsto para la etapa, fueron electroestimulados según un programa recomendado para el aumento de la fuerza dependiente de la contracción de los bíceps braquiales (muscle # 22). Los sujetos fueron evaluados antes y al final de las semanas 2; 4; 6 y 8 (al finalizar el experimento), con dinamometría de ambas manos y del tronco, así como por mediciones de dimensiones relacionadas con los músculos tratados. Se registraron cambios significativos en la fuerza, no así en las variables cineantropométricas seleccionadas. Se concluye la investigación con el criterio de que este programa es efectivo para producir incrementos en la fuerza de los músculos tratados.
