Speed endurance: essential for the performance of female soccer referees.
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research is focused on the physical preparation of female soccer referees in Pinar del Río, with the aim of the objective of contributing to the development of female referees in Cuba through development of female refereeing in Cuba through practical tools adapted to their specific needs. specific needs. It uses a mixed methodological design, combining both quantitative and qualitative quantitative and qualitative approaches to comprehensively evaluate the physical, technical and psychological the physical, technical and psychological condition of female referees. The evaluation includes objective tests objective tests such as the Repetitive Sprint Test (RSA), the Yo-Yo IR1 test and VO₂ max. measurements, complemented by subjective analysis using Likert scales and phenomenological guaranteeing accuracy and depth in the results. The sample consisted of five active female referees, two technical advisors and a physical trainer, all with proven experience, ensuring the representativeness and validity of the study. Initial results revealed significant deficiencies in speed endurance, as no female referee reached the minimum FIFA standards in the Yo-Yo IR1 test, with an average of 63.2% of the requirement. These deficiencies have direct implications on their performance and physical health, evidencing the need for specific intervention programs. The proposed actions combine physical training, nutrition and psychological aspects, being practical, multidisciplinary and scientifically based, in order to improve the physical preparation and performance of female referees in contexts with limited resources.
